Israel and Hamas agree to exchange prisoners

Israel's leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, says they have a plan to let people go who were taken. They will talk about it on Friday. They will say "yes" to the plan. People from Israel, Hamas, the United States, and Qatar all wrote their names on the plan in a place called Doha. They say the plan will start on Sunday if Israel's big group of leaders say "yes."

The plan has a few steps. In the first step, 33 people will go home and some people in jail will be let out. Soldiers will move away from where many people live. People who had to leave their homes can go back. Trucks with help will come in every day. Later, they will talk about letting more people go home, soldiers leaving, and making things calm again. The last step is to bring back any people who did not come home and to build again.

Many people died because of fighting. A lot of people had to leave their homes. There is not enough food, fuel, medicine, or places to live. People are trying to bring help. Israel says Hamas still has some of their people. They think some are not alive. Before the fighting, four people from Israel were taken. They think two are not alive.
